Ok as I understood it , Comedy Central resurrected Futurama and maintain certain rights towards it, Fox has to pay certain royalties to Comedy Central , which after all produced how many various direct to Video Futurama Movies? 6?
This is the legal issue with the show , FOX and EA dealing a new contract with Comedy Central without wanting to pay into royalties , and you'd think they jump at the chance , but for reasons we aren't knowledgeable of, there is hesitance from the very wealthy FOX NETWORK and EA GAMES to do this .Should tonight's crossover episode become a ratings smash , things could change .
