 - They should re-release it & add Terrence as a playable character.
- Mr. Plow and Cool Homer are my very favorite characters. Mr. Plow has some really fun outdoor tasks, here he is melting snow:

I figured if I sent him on a 24 hour task, EA would send out the Christmas update... Poor Homer has no snow to melt. - I was on Android last year, so missed the Cool Brown House. My husband, who is not currently playing, was on iPhone and got it. I really wish I could just grab it out of his game and stick it in mine.

Guys does this happen often? Im a android user but user my iPod touch to delete friends. So I can use my iPod to get the updates but how often does this happen?
The game came out for the iPhone several months before it was available for Android. That is why you will see a lot of comments by Android users saying they missed things from last year. Now that the game is on both platforms, there is no worry about missing released items.- Just include a download code or some other code with a purchase of The Simpsons Season 25 on Blu Ray or DVD, email the code along with your origin name and get the Brown House delivered to your account by an EA employee (probably in Inida where it costs a nickel an hour) and then boom. That way everyone wins, and yes, people will still complain because it is a forum, but not that many people.

Mr Spazzaneve???????????
Also ea encourages people to hack the game and get old items . Really. I mean come on. All android users didnt get a chance to get many items like cool bh or mapple. Only way for us would be the old items hack!- My device is a kindle, which seems to get apps after everyone else :( (I got it for textbooks, not for games, but it's still sad.)
I am not a big purchaser of donuts. I'm generally very broke, so I can't throw money at building my little virtual town, much as I enjoy the activity.
So, I say this as someone who has spent a grand total of three dollars on this game: I would totally pay a stack of 60 donuts for the Cool Brown House. (And honestly wouldn't even care if it came with the skin for Homer. It's nice and all, but I care most about the building.)
More donuts than that, I would be sad, because I wouldn't pay it. (College student over here.) Obviously, a bit less would be better, but I don't expect it to be as cheap as a tree.
I know I'm not the only one. It's something a lot of people want, and I understand that it was a limited episode tie-in, but this could make some quick cash for EA, at no cost to them whatsoever because they already have the design and game files made. Five bucks from every current android and kindle player? From a business standpoint, why would they not do this? - Because they don't care about the money from this deal, and they definitely don't care about customer satisfaction beyond what will earn maximum profit.
If people get the idea cemented in that they can never ever ever ever ever get something again unless they spend 60 donuts on it RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW before it's gone, then that screws up with future psychological warfare and impulse buying decisions. The point is that when you think about a purchase for a while, the average consumer will not spend the money to get it, or at least enough will not spend the money. When they put a clock on and say NOW OR NEVER, you have a psychological terrorist tactic to screw with you and make you purchase.
That's why the only possible way that CBH or any other Limited Time item will be re-released is if there is a way for them to make more money overall from it. Again, it doesn't matter whether it makes more customers happy, only aggregate dollars. So there's really only two ways they can do it.
The way they have been doing it so far is to release Limiited Time items again but at much higher costs (Like Barney's Bowlarama from FREE to 240 donuts). Or, they could try a marketing design that will bring in more money than they would lose by destroying the image of the NOW OR NEVER sales model.
So they sell DLC with seasons of the simpsons, that would probably make more money from DVD sales than losses from people not buying Limited Items ONLY because they are limited time. This is especially true since they would still have to wait almost a year to get the series out on DVD after it airs.
Or, knowing EA, they could make something like a time machine purchase, similar to the Budda, where you pay some rediculous amount, like 100 or 200 donuts to get ONE random limited time item that is no longer available... and of course, since it's EA, 90% of them would be Generic Reindeer or Whacking Day logs with a .0001% chance of a Cool Brown House.
Or.... people could just start paying all those hacking sites a few bucks to get everything ever made plus unlimited dollars... EA is making that option look more attractive each day. JohnSinger wrote:

Uuuummmmm... They don't care about money, only profit? If people get the idea cemented in that they can never ever ever ever ever get something again unless they spend 60 donuts on it RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW, RIGHT NOW before it's gone, then that screws up with future psychological warfare and impulse buying decisions

Sooooo... they want to have people making impulsive buying decisions, but cementing "right now" into a customer's head... screws up future attempts to tell them that they have to get something "right now"??
Do you... I can't even... Can you... English?
*edit* Okay, did anyone else see that post? It seems to have vanished after I replied. It's very late, maybe I hallucinated the whole thing. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h121/PhoenixRoseStar/Emotes/eyespin.gif
