The Simpsons and Flanders houses have a letterbox, and there's a mailbox in front of the Post Office..

What kind of message? Oh I know every week or so you get to send a Donut to a friend, like a special delivery Or just send a regular Item, which would be cool also because I would send shrubs n stuff, could you imagine the complaints in this forum.

Wise, so a twitter sort of message, IDK. It may end up bogging up your inbox a bit and plus you may receive abuse etc, It would have to be templates you could send to stop people from sending you hate mail. I know you could just delete that person but still. Something like a limit of 3 new messages a day, and an acknowledgment feature so you don't waste your 3 msg limit sending thank you's for the letter.- Bump
- In the UK we have letter boxes fixed to the door, with an hole through the Door and metel plate covering the hole that's hinged.
However for the simpsons tapped out we can adapt. :D
