I've updated my game today after the reaper's reward event got fixed and now my game has a new bug in it. The mailman came to my sims house and is complaining it can't reach the mailbox even though the mailbox is in a reachable spot and is on a flat ground. All my mods are up to date. I've tried resetting him and also tried repairing my game as well. Neither one worked.

I am having the same problem. The mailperson just waves like they can't get to the mailbox even though they can. I have no mods.
Now playing today my sim's bills were delivered and can't "Get Mail" even though the bills were just delivered, and can't pay the bills through the mailbox. My sim does the same thing as the mailperson just waving like they can't get to the mailbox. I would really like to play Reapers Rewards, but it seems impossible at this point since I can't get past "Wait for Ambrosia Society Newsletter." (Week two challenges won't show up at all for me)
Similar issue, the mailperson has been stuck on my lot for two days staring and waving at the mailbox. They delivered mail fine the first time like normal, then it was the second or third day of mail delivery. They did the interaction with the mailbox and instead of moving on with their simlife they stayed complaining they couldn't reach it even though they successfully delivered mail. I even moved the mailbox to an empty section of my lot thinking it may have been nearby landscaping causing an issue. Mailperson just follows the mailbox around my lot to wherever I move it and the cycle continues.
I decided to invite the mailperson in and then immediately selected "Send Home" and that got rid of them.
Having the same problem - if I wait long enough though the mail person eventually leaves telling me they "threw" the mail in the mailbox. In classic sims fashion - the mail person pees on themself at least once or twice before giving up.
I’m having the same problem. At first I thought it was maybe my mods, but everything is up to date and nothing interferes with anything. And after seeing this post, I figure this is what’s wrong with my game. I can’t get the Grim Reward complete.
had the same issue. i went to build mode and deleted my mailbox and put out a new one (the one that matches the neighborhood my sim is currently living in, idk if that part matters) . issue is fixed now!
I tried the same but it still didn't do anything, the mail person just stands by my mailbox and waves as if she can't get to it. She literally pissed herself and still kept trying to put mail in it...
