Thank you to everyone who's answered so far. I am loving all the different strategies and ways people determine what makes a good neighbor!
My goals as a neighbor are these: I try to visit every day and tap on 3 long reset buildings in every town, unless there is some event going on in which case I try to conform to the ideals of the event. In the golden days I was all about the corn, the tiles, the eightball, and the stage! I try to leave the spraycans alone unless there is nothing else to tap, because I know some people HATE graffiti. If there is nothing to tap, I try to come back later, but I can't make any promises.
What I look for in my neighbors...People who visit. I don't care what you tap, I just like it when people are active and stop by. When I get decide to check (every couple/few months) I keep track for 6-7 days. If I haven't seen hide nor hair of you in that time, I get deletey.
I don't consider it a character flaw or anything. I know some people don't like to visit except during events, and that fine. I like to have a little circle that visits, so I keep working to fine tune that group. :)
I don't care what level you are, or how you design your town, or if all you ever do if spray paint my buildings. Those are all ways that we're different like special little snowflakes. Just come see me somewhat regularly and we'll get along marvelously! :)
