I can empathize with you, it can be frustrating completing these tasks in the 24 hour period. With this current event, the part that is frustrating me the most is when I log in to clear the characters, but albeit close to the 24 hour time frame to expire. When I log in every time now I cannot access the tunnels or their tasks until I leave and go to KL or visit a friend. It takes me a long time to load either one, and those few minutes it takes me to go to KL and come back are precious. Twice now I have missed on the 100 present bonus because of this. Now I know I have to leave at least 15-20 minutes of tapping time before the 24 hour clock expires to clear these tasks.
And I also am still working towards Bonestorm Santa. My game also crashes after visiting between 5-8 friends, every time, without fail. So it is very annoying trying to make it through the 40 friends that pay gifts, much less visit all of my 100 neighbors. I remember during past Xmas events that the game would crash every 15 minutes or so, and I would have to log back in. I used to have more patience with EA for this, but I no longer do. Personally, I hate that when I purchase premium content it actually increases my game lag because of the increased content. It is a catch 22 for me, I want to buy these new items, but they are decreasing my enjoyment in the game because of the constant crashing. I apologize to my neighbors for not visiting regularly like I typically do. Maybe if I upgrade from my I phone 4 in the next few weeks then it will improve. I hope so.
