you need them to be in default skins.

actually they don't their default skin because I saw an animation with mr burns and scout master and mr burns had his fruit bat man skin on

I just saw this with Marvin Monroe and Gina Vendetta (I was impatient so I forced it by placing them next to each other) it's not so much an interaction just both of them doing they're animated task for a few seconds, Gina does knife tricks while Marvin waves his bat

All my characters are occupied, so I haven't seen this yet, but it sounds like a good addition to the game. From the beginning I've thought TSTO Springfield something of a ghost town because the characters never acknowledge each other, except for the very few who have joint tasks. No "Hi" or tip of a hat to show these characters are acquainted with each other.

Their standard animations on encounters are at least a start :)

I had Nelson waiting to make yoga mats. He was standing outside of the furniture store. I had just tapped the furniture store and I saw Nelson playing a guitar. Did not notice Otto. On releasing Otto again neither did anything but I assume this to be one of the interactions.

Wow. A dozen replies but no great description of what's happening. Unless there's nothing to describe?

There was one or two descriptions. Might want to read the thread again.

I agree-ish, though, my characters are never idle, so I may never see them interact. Every once in a while, though, I do leave my characters idle, like when I'm trying to line things up to the hour or something. Maybe right before act 3 starts I'll leave them alone while I wait for midnight. heh.
