Is spending money on this game worth it?
I buy 300 donuts a month on average which works out at less then 50p per day. Cheap entertainment.

Disagree. A meal at a restaurant lasts an hour. This can give us a little bit of happy every day for years. :)
The years of entertainment this game has already provided to me, I am happy to have paid for it now.
I would pay for a game on my PC more easily than I mobile app, the only other apps I have paid for are photo editors. Putting money into this has been much more worth my time.
