I'd consider my Springfield fairly tidy although during an event you will find a dumping ground for the new items as I tend not to decide what I'm doing with them until the event is over
This is the same for me. - My town is quite organised and organised into sections of activities just like urban planing. Buildings rarely overlaps and the public roads are also generally not blocked so that I could see my characters.
The monorail track is also not blocking my buildings. Every item I got is at least represented in the town for completeness.
The SH area though has an section tailored for little lady justice inventory. The Xmas area is also at SH and many many Elfs live there. - mine has been a mess for awhile so i nuked a few days ago and have started the rebuild
quite enjoying it  "kcannon74741;c-1842035" wrote:
Yes, unfortunately. It's been a mess since the airport event. I keep meaning to straighten it out, but I get so overwhelmed at how much there is to rearrange. I just keep KEM farming instead to buy more things... and never figure out where to place them. It's getting sad. With the snow coming, I really should do something about it.
But I probably will just keep collecting things and never fix it :/
Mine is the exact same. I have an airport area I'm really pleased with and actually a Homerpalooza bit that I'm really happy with but there's so much rubbish all around them. Egyptian and pirate stuff, wizard stuff, new buildings or decorations from recent boxes. I definitely need a couple of days to try and make it remotely ordered.- AirurandoP8 years agoRising NewcomerI keep mine organised. After each event I decide what items to keep out and what to store. I have a section for every event since day one represented in my town
- No my town is organized. I’m too anal retentive to have a messy town. >:)
- I've spent a few minutes in recent months thinking if there could be some Design type event. Instead of the normal event mechanics, there would be goals to motivate players to work on the design of their town. And each day EA would pick a "best designed" town section of a player and all other players could see the design. The event mechanics would encourage people to work on their town. Of course, the pro designers who already have a perfect town would complain though.
- bluntcard8 years agoNew Traveler^ I kind of like that idea and the event could be offering practical designing decorations. Bridges, boats for lakes, lawn chairs, picnic tables, traffic* lights, basic farm animals, pigs, goats, vegetable rows for farming, docks for lakes, etc.
- I think if they added more practical items for decorations we can organize a lot better. Not to mention design better. I feel they got too many items that don't look good in the towns. Don't get me wrong, knowing its based on a cartoon is great but even the show it self had realistic deigning and we can't do it because they won't give us those items. Or the actual ability to do so. And obviously of course help with our storage by making a massive improvement on the storage. I think they should do a actual "maintenance" downtime on the game and improve it. Not long, just a day or 2. Believe me, the improvements are minor at best. Organizing items like xmas etc into its own category etc etc....and no LP would dissagree and probably say it would be impossible. But I beg to differ. If the hacked version of the game can be done like that I don't see how EA can't do it. The hackers did it in less than 24 hours.
I'm sorry it turned out into a rant X3 - I try to keep it tidy on a weekly basis. In other words each week on a Sunday I check over the whole Springfield.
Usually a little messy in a certain section after a big event. Then when I have some downtime I then tidy that section.
So on average it’s pretty neat and tidy throughout.
