Item Limit?

I miss this forum and talking strategy (I miss there being a strategy)...If any old forum friends are still around, I hope you are well.

Ive been doing some designing again and am wondering 1) what the current item limit is and 2) do the krustyland items (that require tickets) count against the limit?

Hopefully there will be an increase this month. Do the zoo items and town square really count as 3-6 items? Does the new lighthouse & pier and Bermuda Triangle Lair count as 2 items since they go in the sea?

Are there any update plans on the item limit? I‘ve reached the limit yesterday and have still a lot of stuff to build due to the Black Friday deals. I don‘t have the feeling that a ipad pro is struggeling with the performance.
