If your multiplier is for example 50%, the cost will still be 105$, and the earnings mentioned by the job manager will still be 420$, but your real earnings will be 630$. So if you have a high multiplier, the job manager will cost you only a small percentage of your real earnings.

It's why I always use it, as my multiplier is over 300%. So a job that costs 420 - the 105 deduction still nets me 1155. I can live with that for the convenience.
