Just being a geek...
yes. but saying 16 weeks isn't as bad sounding as 4 months. When you think about it, it will be summertime in 4 months. With that said, are you planning to make an accurate Springfield when you get...

When I look at my own SF, I do wonder how others complain about no land. But some people do some really elaborate and creative stuff. Sometimes they make things look a lot more realistic too, like having a huge parking lot by the mall or something. I guess if you wanted todo things that way, it would be easy to run out of land. I'm not that creative, so even with all regular buildings and a big park and campground, I have tons of room left.
I'm not saying they cannot be creative, but when new content arrives, why can't they get rid of some part of their huge design until new land is available?
It's all about choices, sacrifices.
I have been playin since day one, I have every item in the game except for Mt Carlmore or whatever it's called cuz it's unsightly and large.
I have only one of each house, two of the white ones. No duplicates of any building other than that single extra white house.
I don't do extravagant designs for evry building only signature buildings. My only extravagance being a waterfront I created prior to squidport.
Even still I have been forced to demolish things to make way for new content. Most have been areas I wanted to improve anyways but some have been painful destruction of well liked designs (parks, an airstrip, forested area etc).
I can certainly understand why less seasoned players might wonder about the alleged land problems but I'll just say this.
You'll begin to understand after you get to where maxed out players are sitting. It's a little unsettling to worry about what beloved creation you'll have to destroy next in the name of new updates/levels.
Hopefully they'll just add more land and you'll never have to fret. 8)
Talk about your The Simpsons: Tapped Out experience with other TSTO players.
