Kirk and Luann Skins available

I would ask for a refund. What a horrible idea it was to sell these separately because there is no indication they require both to be purchased. It's pretty clear EA didn't have a lot of content ready for this Halloween.

What a rip off. And I agree, sick of crafting so these skins are useless anyways. As far as being "rare" in the future, I am willing to bet I will have zero regrets about not purchasing these. EA is getting so darn greedy.

This! I was actually looking forward to those skins, but I was expecting at least one of them to be buyable with in-game cash or be free as part of the story line. I'm going to pass too.

That is outrageous. Corporate greed at its finest. I would definitely complain to EA over that. Whatever you do don't give in and buy Luann and her skin for the sake of completing this questline.

Yep! I contacted support and got a full refund. Now I just have this Acorn task that won't go away, though... I assume it will expire at the end of the event. Bummed that I don't get the funny squirrel chasing Kirk animation, but certainly not going to reward the bad behavior by buying more stuff to complete this.

Glad to hear it. That image alone is hysterical, i can't wait to see it in a neighbor's town.

Also i have to believe that when it comes to EA offering products like these, they know exactly what they are doing. They are marketing directly to customers like you who recognize the value and fork over the money and are satisfied. I'm certain they don't give a hoot about all the whiners who can't afford it.

They have products for them as well, and will offer products to every demographic they can. They're not going to stop offering premium products because those who can't handle the extravagant purchase start to cry. So much crying about unfairness here it's ludicrous. (Say it like Mike Tyson!)

I can't afford it. Either of them. Wish i could, probably wouldn't anyway because it's a ridiculous waste of cash imho, but so is beer which is enough wasted $

I don't blame EA's greed, they're evil corp it's what they do; and don't have any problem with satisfied premium players who have it all, and paid the ability for me to play this excellent free game.
