There have been quite a few instances of people remembering scenes from a movie, often quite vividly and fondly, that were never in the movie. Some of them vociferously complaining when the DVD was released and that scene was "removed".
Just like "Play it again, Sam" from Casablanca.
Edit: You were talking about scenes, which my mind transposed into mis-remembered lines from movies.
... Like Captain Kirk's, 'Beam me up Scotty'... (which he never once said)... kinda appropriate right now :twisted:
