Having exactly the same issue

There seems to be quite a few issues and glitches with the latest update including the one where you can place roads, dirt, etc on the new Land, but these problems are fairly normal with this game and I'm sure EA will get around to fixing it before the game ends :)

Yeah, DITTO... Certainly inhibiting my seriously desired townscaping expansion :evil:

Got the same problem. New land won't let any terrain tiles to be placed. It's also annoying that Five Corners and the Catus Patches can't be on dirt. EA really needs to lift restrictions for pavement, dirt, and grass for everything.

I blasted my Springfield the night before the Monorail event and I'm still recovering.

Still have a lot to do with the general stuff and then have to get to the Sin City section.

I've got plenty to do while they fix this bug.

I'm missing a square of land to buy...the north most/top of the new strip....I was buying the whole row and wen I got to the top (away from the water) there was no option to buy (I do have enough money)

It looks weird.

Maybe the new strip of land is really the "bad"lands update you thought you were getting. :lol:
