Lawyer's

Just for the record, I have been visiting towns multiple times during the day, the lawyers can be dropped at any time as long as the neighbour hasn't filled the ten slots available, for example, I dropped all ten in a neighbours town and have been in today and dropped more and as mentioned here, I have been flitting between my main and sandbox all day whilst also visiting people who I have noticed have dropped into mine despite the fact I'd already tapped fans last night...

I think the problem we have got is we can't find them and we don't know how long we have got until we lose them to an automatic clean up, if a neighbour only happens to be able to drop one in mine and I can't find it, then they get a message saying I haven't helped them, it's not because I haven't tried.. It's the same as if I drop into neighbours towns now and don't see their name crop up, i'll know that they probably haven't been able to locate my lawyer in time..

I don't know how this is gonna pan out when I'm on a 12hr day with work, I might be able to call in once or twice to reset event tasks, but i'm gonna really struggle to start locating lawyers plus there'll be no doubt others will get messages saying I haven't helped them when I simply haven't been able to log in and been 'timed out' so to speak..

Being fair, it's a good effort by EA to try and change the dynamic a little bit and really get us involved as neighbours, but it does need a tweak, something like the gnome radar to help us...

Anyway, to those who drop in mine, if I miss you, I'm sorry, if I don't drop any back, let me know, but I will be trying to keep track of who's playing and do drops wherever I can...

lawyer mechanic is definitely frustrating but... i just keep dropping all the ones I have to my favorite neighbors who visit me most often between and during events! you know who you are! :)

I cant pinpoint because this is Day1, but I think the Lawyers expire 8-10 hours after you drop them, and so far I have not found any limit on the amount of Lawyers a day you can drop if your friend is active. I really think the key here is to find a buddy in a similar Timezone or playtime to you, and trade Lawyers.

Also there is a 100 cuff cap on the amount of cuffs you can get from visiting friends a day.

I think you only have 4 hours to tap on lawyers. I sent out many this morning around 6am and just got the notice that they weren't tapped at 10am. I know they couldn't have been from the day before.

4 would be a slap in the face if you are in a totally different timezone to your neighbours.

Another possible issue, they drop fast. I dropped 3 in @johncolombo to test. Went to another friend to drop 3 more, there were only 2 left :( so keep an eye on lawyers, they're particularly shifty.
No sure I like this variation of friend helping, especially if they time out if not found while I have no way of knowing if I even have any friends dropping them. Especially if they are particularly valuable. Think I might be frustrated by this tactic. :( already agitated :|

I hope I am wrong but I know that I started receiving notifications yesterday so it couldn't be too long.

This is the method I’ve been using. First I visit my secondary town to see how many lawyers have been dropped in my main town then go back and clear all the lawyers by number. This is the easiest I know at the mo.

How did you know you had five lawyers left? I can't seem to find out how many I have.
