It shows on my 2nd freemium town that there is a countdown of 14 days.

I thought Lisa's dialogue might have meant we got more land but we did not, she talks about how Springfield has grown, when if fact it has not.

Early access is a new concept by EA. It means the item is available to everyone regardless of game progress for a limited time and then only at the appropriate level thereafter.

Since most of us are max level players and it is new concept, most of us have never had that option.
