Well, I don't know. I went to put eggs to my friends' towns and when I came back to mine all my snakes were gone. I managed to find one more and whack it, but 46 snakes just poofed and I haven't gotte...

I went into a friends town with 1230 snakes. Hit a couple of snakes then realised there were loads of them in there that I could still hit but I was down to 1220, every time I hit a few more it went up before dropping again.
Went to a couple more towns and they only had the usual 5 and I didn't drop. But then a couple of others did the same as the first town described.
I stopped visiting more towns once I was down to 1210.
How do you hit a friends snakes, because I've seen snakes in a friends town but when I hit them it doesn't work
