I was very nearly at that point and two things saved me: I became donut-independent, and the game got relatively boring as a several-times-a-day activity. The compulsion to check in several times a day is gone. I might complain that the game isn’t as exciting/interesting as it once was, but that’s actually a good thing for me in many ways. I enjoy checking in once a day, or every other day, and it’s fun without feeling like an addiction.

I’d like to place Lisa’s recycling plant but all my shoreline is premium real-estate - the local residents wouldn’t tolerate it.

It became an absolute addiction for me. It was a struggle to stand up and walk away to go to the bathroom or get food some days. And the worst part: I wasn't enjoying myself. It was like a hateful job: grinding, grinding, grinding... Gotta get more cash. Gotta get more cash...
I'm still a little worried. When I got the game reinstalled and opened I had a rush of giddiness.
However... My 2 years away has let me take a step back. I've pushed up my Multiplier and I'm cleaning up my town so it makes sense - buildings where characters have jobs go on or near the Boardwalk, monstrosities go way at the back.
My new issue is that if I don't get some Land Tokens soon... I'm stuck. I can't expand without Tokens and I didn't realize they'd finally opened up the right side AND that you could ONLY buy them with Tokens, so I wasted all my hoarded tokens (might as well use these) opening up the back area. I've gotten one new Land Token in all 3 of my towns since I came back. ONE. I'm out of room in game 3 without Tokens AND a boatload of cash. I already spent most of my cash buying Rat Trap Trucks to get donuts to buy Mystery Boxes to push my Multiplier up.
Sigh...
We'll see.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about land - I was lucky enough to pick up Golden Goose Realty the first time it was offered. It should be made available in the store.

Glad to see you back wadebear, have missed your posts. Land tokens were doled out in events for a while but not in at least the last three.

I am not sure where you getting your price for LLRP from, but you can buy particular building as cheap as 30 donuts minimum from the Yearbook, 150 donuts max if you are not so lucky.

Those were my Yearbook prices. I'm playing 3 towns. 2 tries in the first town, 3 tries in the second, 5 in the third.
