I started a new town to counterattack the dissatisfaction I felt for the new mini-non-event format. I haven't abandoned my old town by no means, but the lack of events had robbed me somewhat from the enthusiasm I had when there were new items to get and things to strive for. Playing the game anew gave me back a lot of the enjoyment I've always had with TSTO. The town building has always been a major part of the appeal, and now I have two towns to design! Double the fun :D
I will be very disappointed if there will no longer be new content or events, but I doubt I'll stop playing any time soon.
