What is "violent shut down"? I've restarted my device 3 times, no success. Force closed app a zillion times too.

LOL. I wondered the same thing ... I assume they meant "force close". I took it as sarcasm (and love it) ....
Or maybe that's a translation of "force close" -- if using a translator?

In Unix the violent shutdown of a process is done with "kill -9 process_number". :)
Also, google "Zombie process" for a laugh.
