Also, initially I only had one of each type of building, be it house or shop, but I came to find out as I was working towards 5 stars that you couldn't possibly have a 5 star town with unique buildings. Somehad to be purchased multiple times, so I have a very modest amount of each house, but they are all clumped together. As others have pointed out, now I leave those houses uncleared for people to tap when they are visiting.
