No, he was the Auror with the magical swiveling eye. Lockhart was the one who released the Cornish pixies and left the class to round em up.
I remember all that. It's been a while since I read the books, and for some reason I had it in my head that a teacher came in, threw a spell, and froze the pixies. Who was it that did? (Don't tell me...Hermione? )
