Needed: Nerd Stable

That would be nice. I've just been letting the excess nerds go if I don't have time, but even with the increased nerd storage, you're stuck with far less than enough storage for 2 sets of nerds.
  • This is one of the hallmarks of a Freemium game, actually. You either spend a lot more time and effort to get what you want or you spend actual money.

So it's try to make it every two hours, or pay to unlock the things you can't get.

I think it sucks, but I also like it in the way that no matter what, everyone with a device that runs it and some Internet handy can play the game.

You don't really have to play anywhere near every 2 hours to finish this particular event. I've been sending out nerds only twice per day lately and still have over 34,000 gold with a month still left in the event.

I'm guessing the Stonecutter event was much more difficult for those who couldn't log in often enough to complete all of the Number 1 tasks most of the time.
  • haha, I would love to see this, all those nerds fenced in just mulling around, getting nosebleeds and spilling their ear medicine

Even so, I find the 2 hour nerd routine restricting. I imagine it's a real pain in the poopchute for people who have actual lives.

I don't look at it as a routine, because I only pick up my nerds whenever I am able to play. I can't play every 2 hours, so there's nothing I can do about it. The 2 hour time frame may be the game's routine, but its not mine.

As a freemium player I never pay donuts for any of the event items that produce things only for the event. So I wouldn't pay anything nerd related.

Yeah, you're completely right here. The problem, from my point of view, is some of us have this compulsve need to keep things going as often as it allows us. It drives some people crazy, and I'm sorta in that camp. :) I wake up in the middle of the night and I just have to check my town. lol

Stonecutters, their best event from what I've seen so far, was quite a time suck. In order to get to the end, you really had to work hard, or spend some real cash on it. Either way, I still liked it. I know I won't get everything until I have a job with an actual good income!! :)
