Nerds, elisir and red dices... What to do?
I always do what you mentioned in first option.... Many items are really handy after we get new decorations after time and storing em doesn't cost you nothing I would just wait to the very last day...

If there was going to be something special like converting elixir and gold we would have read about it already through the usual spoiler sources...but we haven't. Spend the dices, elixir, and ignore the nerds. Buy a few more walls and decorations while you can, otherwise prepare yourself for Halloween.
