The beach hut has a great multiplier though, once upgraded.

My instinct is character too - but doing the math it's going to depend on how much income you average:

1 premium character earns $260/4 hours for 80-90 donuts. That's without a multiplier of any kind. Let's assume you have a 400% multiplier and so in reality - that premium character pulls in 1300/4 hours

For 90 donuts you can get 3 jet bikes for a 6% bonus. To earn more off those decorations than the premium character - your average income per four hours needs to be more than 21667. If your four hour income is higher - the decorations are a better deal.


Better yet, if you still don't have the premium characters offered in the mystery box, take the 90 donuts and keep buying mystery boxes, and you'll build up premium characters, income earning Lard Lads, and bonus earning decorations

A decoration with a 2% bonus would bring in more money and xp than a character over the long run.

I don't care about profit - I just like new characters/skins!

Thank you all for your opinions:) So i guess it is best to buy characters first when good deals/rebates come up and if you have some spare donuts you can add some decorations when the time is right, like beach hideways, but those are a rare luck i guess:) For me, best increase was from wailing walls, but such things do not come up often:)

the absolute best deal on bonus/donut is buying mystery boxes, my test of this worked out to about 7 donuts/%. it really depends on your goals, your payout in the long run will be from increasing your bonus if you donut farm. if you dont donut farm then bonus isnt as important.

An upgraded beach hut gives 20% and costs 40 donuts. Can't beat that with a character. However, characters are way more fun to have walking around in town.
