I’ve seen a few rumblings about a new event starting on the 10th. The current event ends on the 10th. WTH? Are EA trying to blow their servers up? With some people scrambling to finish and others trying to get the old one finished, it looks like a Bart screen nightmare. Not even a single day off! That having been said, I think I like the idea.

As much as i appreciate this new content, i do miss how exciting it used to be, when we'd discover what was the new in the game play, not just the same routine like it is now. So many would come here excited and confused, and we all figured it out together.
I had a 4 /5 year absence from they game. Before I left each event had different game play.
Been back about a year now and eaxh time all the same. I don't mind but is it ever going to change?

I’m a little puzzled about the decorations. In the past you could spend in game currency for event decorations and if you paid donuts you could get fancier decorations that gave a percentage boost to XP. It seems all of the new decorations in recent events have cost donuts but no percentage boost in any of them. My game is at the stage I can afford donuts to buy things (I have plenty of in game cash to convert by selling then rebuying expensive buildings) but it still feels like a bad deal to spend donuts and not get a percentage boost. If I were a new player I’d be discouraged.

Agree. One of the best things about the game for me was seeing what new decorations, igc buildings were available at the start of a new event. Shame its a thing of the past now.
I did notice some pond/lake type decoration recently. No idea how long it's been available.
