I don't have Chester but I did get Gil and his offer. Don't have the nuke button tho. I have the last parchment task running right now. When that finishes I might try a reinstall and see if that works

Well, you know, for all the other premium buildings in the game, you do have the chance to hit the purchase button, and see what the building looks like and if you have the land to place it, before you actually buy it and confirm your purchase. This is NOT true with this and I think it is unfair and a bit ridiculous. I haven't made the accidental purchase, but I also do not have Gil appearing in my town yet either.

I don't have Chester and the rocket car, but got the update with Gil and the gold house "sale." I got the update this morning when I tapped the icon to go visit neighbors. I recall there were 2 updates - a small 5 or 6mb and a larger 100-something update. Instead of going to my neighbors screen, Gil showed up on his knees, begging me to buy the gold house.

For those of you not getting Gil, did you have more than 250 donuts when you logged in? Did you have Lampwick?

I had Lampwick and >250 donuts. I got Gil when I opened my app.

I don't think that would make a difference because the whole point is EA want people to buy donuts, so whether you have them already or not wouldn't matter.
