i started hoarding as soon as I knew for sure that I'd be able to get the copter without opening any more bags. I got mine yesterday and have 4 days of bags stored. Now I'll have lots of bags to open for the last stage.

Same with me and I got the copter today. If it became an issue of not getting enough ray guns, the bags could have been opened. Since I didn't need them, now I will have a good head start on the next part.

Definitely doable for normal players. I just got the helicopter and I started hoarding about three days ago.
I did purchase the Ray gun, whitch Marge and one additional premium kid.
This is a very tough event, The first time I've spent donuts during an event on items. Although these items I wanted for a looong time, and I'm a day 1 player, so I have all free giveaway items.

First phase I got the price days early. This second phase I have 24 hours from the time of posting this to get 1,045 ray guns. I haven't changed my play time or anything, still playing every 2-4 hours every day and sending my 10 kids trick or treating every 8 hours. And phase 3 is going to need even more than the previous two per day oh my. I would like to know why this is so varied even though it appears that nothing has changed except the amount of the item we are getting for the same work.

What happens if you don't make it in time? I haven't reduced my playing but somehow I'm 1400 off. I saw something on one of the websites that says the prizes move over to Make a Thing prizes if you haven't won them by the deadline.

I don't think I'm going to make it this round.

If you are really close by then end of the day, you can finish it off with donuts. Not sure which would be smarter, crafting it in the next round or finishing it up with donuts now, I guess it depends on how badly you will want the phase 3 craft prizes.

I'm definitely not going to make it. Don't have enough kids to take trick and treating, nor enough friends in my new town. I still need 1000 guns to make it..... :?
I'm not sure if I really want the copter......it's just a decoration. Not sure where I would want to put it in the future. Maybe next to the hospital. Still thinking about it. But if I get it with donuts then I definitely need to get it now. I got the peacock in my hacked town and so I had to craft it (as I really like it) and with all the objects I got this round, it still costed me 150 donuts (yes I know, just crazy to pay that). It's less expensive to buy the object now for sure.

I am currently about 90 donuts away so I'll get it no problem, at the beginning of the week I was a little worried. I have been hoarding bags since early in this phase since I ended phase 1 so far ahead (a combination of over 200 at this point). I play multiple times a day and get my friend visits in. I don't have the gateway but I do have the missile launcher. Just with those three-a-day missiles, I lucked out and shot down 2x UFO worth 50x ray guns.
