You do know your Springfield will still work fine if you don't have every item available dont you.

Yes it will be either way too big and we will have to rearrange our whole town, or; it will be ridiculously small for what it's supposed to be, like the mall. If anyone can suggest how it would be different and not a huge PITA, I'd like to hear it.
I was actually thinking about this in the middle of the night last night... It would only take two pieces: one straight and one curved. The curved piece would have to rotate in four directions, like fences do. Then you could make whatever layout you wanted/needed. And if you didn't want to have it, you could simply elect not to use it!
