Oh God, the Monorail is NOT a good idea
You do know your Springfield will still work fine if you don't have every item available dont you.

Why couldnt the monorail just be one big giant expensive item like the popsicle stick skyscraper and the escalator to nowhere. Its not like stuff in the town is to-scale anyway.
