You do know your Springfield will still work fine if you don't have every item available dont you.

As I recall, when I placed one of the cars near the mall (one of Chalmer's Ondas) the mall was roughly two-car-lengths. Taking a wild guess that a car is generally about 20 feet long, that makes the mall 40-feet-by-40-feet, or roughly 1600 square feet. (Did I do that right? )
On the upside, the Springfield Mall doesn't need any more parking spaces. :)
I honestly scale up every item and think that's a major factor to the game, the mall was one of the first real obvious scale failure let downs. :C
That was me who mentioned it. How about the sizes of the characters? Most of them probably couldnt fit through the most doors, except the kids!
