I integrated my Ornate Pier Tiles INTO my Boardwalk. It's a mess right now though - I can't make up my mind how to do it. Plus I have the Yellow Submersible and keep getting more tiles (both kinds) and the number I have changes how I'm going to do it eventually.
Currently I have half my Boardwalk in a checkerboard pattern and the other half in strips where the Ornate Tiles match up with the roads in my town.
