It won't be a lot. Sometimes I've seen it happen in my town that I've tapped all infected, then the virus instantly moves to infect another, and doesn't register, but it's rare. I've manually searched multiple times and never find them like that. Just consider yourself lucky if you find one that hasn't registered. It's a bonus!
