Oh you should see Austin or San Antonio Texas when it actually manages to freeze. You would think hell had actually frozen over. The stores sell out of bottled water and canned goods. Everything from the airport to McDonald's closes down :D. I grew up in Ohio and where I lived, we really did get snowed in with no power for a few weeks each winter and it wasn't a big deal. Though I must say, when it hits 112 f, and I can barely crawl from one air conditioned place to the next, these texans laugh at me and tell me to suck it up :)
