Is this a joke? You can't get the Shelbyville items without paying real money? That has to be their biggest scam yet for this game....not to mention why would I place Shelbyville items in Springfield ...

You’re missing the point. No one is arguing that the event items should not have been unbundled. Merely that spending $100 ought to have been enough (more than enough!) to purchase all of the items.
Exactly. Logical set-up, IMO:
Buy 60 donuts: 1 prize
Buy 132 donuts: 2 prizes
Buy 300 donuts: 3 prizes
Buy 900 donuts: 4 prizes
Buy 2400: all 5 prizes
If EA wants to encourage future purchases, just add new prizes...

Something else I think a lot of ppl here are forgetting is those that can and do farm are truly a low percentage of players. They are a lot louder here and sound like more but still.
Those of us, or at least a majority of us, that buy donuts see the Shelby like stuff as a bonus to our already spending.
Totally agree with the layout @Oatmeal832 and others have suggested though because I, for one, would not buy all those separate batches for all the separate prizes. I got the lemon tree on the winnabego and might get something else on payday for more vouchers stuff.
