I've actually had marmite recently...never even heard of the thing until my parents took a trip to England and came back with some for me to try. We all agreed it was absolutely the most vile thing we've ever tasted. I can't believe they call it food. I couldn't get rid of the taste after I had it. They brought some back just to show me how disgusting it was. They told my brother it tasted good just to trick him into trying it. They warned me ahead of time but I still tried it (they gave me the warning since they like me more than my brother).
