I assumed it WAS a drug reference, which just shows how out-of-touch I am. (Being a college student in the 60s probably conditioned me to think "smoke it" meant just one thing.) ;)
Well, I think it's supposed to be a walking tomacco, so it would probably more like cigarettes, etc. But it sounds like a drug reference, so they might've changed it.
That said, the Mrs. Muntz and Otto/Dr. Nick quest-line certainly didn't shy away from the drug references, so I dunno.
