After an update today the Pet Mutant Plant is coming up as costing 45 donuts with a rebate of 45 donuts.....so technically free?! Should I buy it and then complain to EA later when I inevitably don't ...

I don't/didn't see it in the store but have started to notice one walking around my town and can't remember whether or not I had it before (wouldn't have ever paid 45 donuts for it). Perhaps I had it in storage yet an update took it out again? It doesn't seem to do anything and I often store NPCs to get them out of the way.
