Playable character count

Curious to hear what your playable character counts are. No NPCs or skins… just playable characters.

I started a couple years into the game and after purchasing Brendan I am at 271. Will pick up the Preppers compound and Rose Quimby today, bringing my total to 273.

I still have a four regularly available characters to buy and know I have missed a few along the way.

Also, does anyone know what the total number of playable characters released is? Does anyone have them all?

    He was originally an npc and now a full playable character... to be honest I preferred it when he just wandered around town. All his jobs are indoors :(

    I&S Bots also
    Santas Little Helper did have jobs awile back, chase his tail, etc

    Cool! Thank you so much! Not sure how I missed that. Always wanted him, because he’s so iconic, and completes the Simpson’s character set, but always felt he was hideously expensive for a NPC. Guess it’s time to get him. Thanks again

    i got both santas little helper wrong and i&s bots wrong, thought bots were on @Muhsterino list but was wrong 0 for 2 on this topic :D

    So....SLH is a playable character, and I&S Bots not. Correct? :)

    yep, my bad. forgot the bots are in the town census but not on @Muhsterino list
