Maximum Sim Count

Just curious, console Simmers but what do you have yours set at? Currently I have it set to 150 Max Recommended.
  • I somehow made it to 150 and have to scale back every so often to 140 by switching families in and out of my favorites.
  • Unlimited!!!

As many sims as possible, like... 1 TRILLION SIMS!!! *Kappa face*

I do wonder if the Death cheats work in PS4 sims? I'm gonna need it when I kill off sims while playing soap operas with them (drama lama runs).
  • Mine is usually set to Unlimited, but never seem to go past 280. One of my current game saves is set to 150 max.
  • My max recommended is actually 200, and that's what every save is set on except one, which I play the most often.

It's for an experiment throughout the generations, and you would not believe the effort that i've put into it. I can't even believe it sometimes, i KNOW that it's crazy; I'm using MCCC to simulate marriages/children etc. in unplayed households, and i've been tracking all of the sims related to my founder. Some branches are into generation 9, and each generation is bigger than the last. I have to use a color-coded excel spreadsheet to keep track of them, plus plumtreeapp.com. At this point I spend significantly more time keeping those updated than I do actually playing the game, haha. Like I said, crazy.

So yeah, all of those sims are in My Households, plus the pregnant baby mommas until the babies are born so that I can keep track of them. I've been hovering around the 200-210 mark, but am planning on changing some things to lower the birthrate. it's just too much to keep track of!
  • 80, I play 1 family basically all the time so I have no need to worry about the sim count being larger. I also dont like the idea of increasing it in case it affects performance. So on both Console and pc I keep it at 80
  • Mine is set at 150 and I have a Sim count of 78. I have saved some townies that I wanted to save but I don't play them...but rapidly approaching max. I was just curious
