Playing on Multiple devices

How do you save?

I have decidedly *not* been able to play on multiple devices. I play on my iPad, and when I have logged out and then logged in again on iPhone, the game sets me back to the starting point. If I try to log in again on iPad, game still has me back at the beginning. Eventually, after a day or so, I can see my Springfield again when I log in on my iPad, but I lose a couple of days of play in the meantime.

EA has yet to give me an explanation for why this happens--I just get repeated "We're looking into it, please be patient" emails. I'm generally a pretty patient person, but considering that EA has found a way to make switching between devices on Sims Freeplay totally seamless, I know they are capable of better, and it's starting to * me off that they can't figure out the problem on TSTO. (Especially because I use every iTunes gift card I get to buy their %#!$&@ TSTO donuts, so I'm supporting game development financially as much as I possibly can.)

That said, it seems like my experience has been the exception--plenty of other people have said they have no problems. I wish I could say the same.

Every day between ipad and iphone. Just remember to logout from one device before trying to login on the other one. It'll generally warn you if the other device hasn't saved progress. Logging out has been safest for me though you really just need to make sure it syncs.

I play between my iPhone, the mini and iPad 2 and I have no problems ever. I think it's best actually just in case the game saved on your main device stops working. I could be so wrong though, I know nothing about anything that doesn't contain ink!
