I find it funny personally that some think the time bug is the reason every is finishing early. I was ahead of all my friends and wouldve been done before many who are done here until the lower payout glitches kept happening to me. Admittedly I have too much time on my hands as I'm disabled and basically bedbound so I got ahead by logging in hourly most of the time and sending out nerds all through the day, not by only login in once or twice a day! I find it so funny that everyone is touting the exact opposite of what I did as being the way to go. When things started to slow with the low payout glitch I sent more nerds to easier towns so houses were demolished in an hour and I still got full payout whenpther I waited a full hour to lot in or not unless I miscalculated and my attack blocked.
So apparently I got ahead by an entirely different stategy and of course I'm nota typical player at all. I only started playing around April and learned during Stonecutters to log in hourly or half hourly just to level up. I couldn't get everything in that event because my level was just too low. I'm still finishing out level 41 right now so hence why I still have initiative to keep logging in hourly or I wouldn't have just for CoC because I've not been particularly find of this event.
So I don't know. I literally don't have much of a life and started playing this game at a point when my health got particularly bad. Yet honestly to log in every two hours for new nerds and just send out attacks on random towns doesn't take that much time out of your day. But seems everyone is attached to the 12 hour thing or whatever. I just find it funny that I did just as well doing things my own way. Maybe that just goes to show we should play in whatever way works for us?
As for EAs plans and this game, I hope they add something more. I only recently decided to buy donuts for the first time but definitely didnt see anything worth spending them on with CoC so I agree about it likely not being about donuts. Heck maybe they owe us after Easter. I blew what measly donuts I had at that point hoping for something food and bviously that didnt pay off nor did begging fiends to give me all their eggs! They brought up Easter in the event dialogue so I do think Easter caused them to change how they did things. Easter was my very first event and I actually didnt expect to keep playing given how that went so I think it's good that they tried to make things better with earning prizes and all but they'll never make everyone happy. I'm not sure this event was the answer either but if EA does learn from their mistakes then here's hoping future events get even better.
