I'm finished with this event already and I didn't do anything remarkable; I just visited random towns whenever I had new nerds and attacked five buildings per town, one nerd per building. I played quite a bit every day but certainly didn't get up during the night to play. Basically, this was a super-easy event and I'm now checking out until Halloween or the next level update. I can't believe this is what EA had in mind, given there's still over five weeks to go before shields and nerds will finally, mercifully disappear.
So either they messed up, and/or there is going to be something else before Halloween.
