Potential reasons for lack of new stuff?
I think the so-called Crazy Banana update in September has something to do with it. The Twitter post is making it out to be something amazing. I have decided that it's better to wait than to complain....

The game is going to last to at least Christmas and probably longer. If they were planning on closing it down they would not be working on a "crazy bananas update." But the thing is tapped out is still making a lot of money and with Halloween and Christmas right around the corner I think it will make even more money. I think the reason we are not getting new content is because they want to stall us in-till September. But they could of at least given us a friend point prize or something small...
