Premium characters take LONGER to trick or treat?!?!

I could be wrong but maybe it's because the premiums are guaranteed silver or gold treat bags?
  • It is quite odd, I could get one silver in 16 hours in the time it takes to get two with everyone else. As 16 hours are hard to fit into day to day consistently.
I do wonder why they did that, would have made more sense to give two bags every 8 hours really
I know they guarantee silver but that's not really as amazing as it is claimed as you need lots of bronzes for things like hugo

    That's my guess.
  • I have two premium kids and yes, they will either get gold or silver bags each time.

I do think it's wrong they take twice as long. We paid for them.

While I agree, with the guaranteed silver or gold bag, it is worth the time frame.
I ust find it annoying that I can't match a 16 hour task around my life and my characters are going to finish while I am sleeping.
Maybe I'll set an alarm to set them back to task lol.
  • I agree that the 16-hour time frame is annoying, but I'm betting the gold/silver don't drop as often as you're thinking on the non-premiums. It's not like you don't have the non-premium characters trick-or-treating anyway, so the premiums just make it easier to get the rarer gold/silver bag items. Slower, but more reliable.
  • My guess for why some characters take longer to Trick or Treat is that Kearney and Squeaky Voiced "Teen" are "Teens", not "Children" so they can't complete the same tasks in the same time....

    Thoughts?

Uter also takes 16 hours, as do the twins.

A regular character can complete two trick-or-treat tasks in the same amount of time, so you're essentially getting two bags with 33% odds of gold or silver (assuming equal odds) and opposed to one bag with 50% odds of gold or silver (assuming equal odds).

Even if only one of your two regular characters bags is gold or silver, you're still getting one gold or silver bag plus one bronze bag in the same amount of time you earn a single gold or silver bag with a premium character.

To me, bronze bags are just as important as gold or silver because they each contain unique treats.

    I agree with this
Its quite unfair for those of us who bought premium characters

Also, Sherri and Terri should get 2 bags, as normally their cash payout is 2x other premium characters

Personally I think it's discusting that we pay for premium character's and not really get any benefits from them in events, most of them are never even involved, all they do is earn more xp and $, there's not even anything to buy with the money and when you are high levels it takes that much xp now just to earn 3 donuts it's not even worth the effort, the least they could do is help out more with events to help earn the prizes.

I think that events should be able to be completed by both freemium and premium players. Even with the longer task time, the premium kids do provide significant contributions to the less common treat items that only come from silver and/or gold bags.

When you buy a premium character, you are buying the character and the tasks/building that come with said character. The developers have no obligation to design events to be significantly easier for premium players, nor are they obligated to include every single premium character as part of the event.
