That's pretty much what it comes down to. Some of the characters have better tasks than others. The Aztec Theater and Observatory give a few characters a new task. Hank Scorpio doesn't talk.

    I think most would agree Frink is the best first purchase. You get a talking character and a new building. Two ways to earn extra money instead of one! :)

    No-one's mentioned Otto and the School Bus, he'd be my first pick, it looks rad in the school carpark, and fairly cheap in donuts, too.
