Sorry LP, compute this my brain cannot.....

the event started at 5pm BST or around that. so we could have full days.
also it's so they can have little time with the timer showing no actual timer in the game since they're going to release the store update around that time.
hopefully they put the files early in the server so I can know what's going to happen with the Takedown lol

i need one more double bleacher, cross fingers, toes etc for me lol

I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and attempt to paraphrase using knowledge of past event.

It's not weird, don't pay too much attention to it. They just added 12 hours so the event doesn't expire mid-day for US players. Just because the timer expires an update is needed to remove the event. Odds are you'll be able to keep tapping for a day or two if you avoid the app store update.

This was a great event, one of my favorites, but I'm looking forward to having it cleared out so I can have my town organized.

I started playing the game midway through the second act so I missed a lot of stuff from the event. I'm looking forward to whatever the next event is so I can see how I do starting from the beginning this time.

Not sure if im just lucky but i got my bonus donuts from playing tap ball in another town and when i came back to mine the box popped up not once but twice so i was able to get six instead of three. Reminded me a little of endless bob. Dont think i will make it again to the bonus to verify but its worth a shot to others at least.
