quest issue with kirk

I have the naked kirk with the acorn set of missions. I'm on "the early squirrel gets the nut part 4". I have to make him "argue", and it is locked because it needs the van Houten house. I obviously have the house, but the quest remains locked, and I'm unable to do the mission or progress. I've logged off, visited krustyland, gone to a friends town, and stored and re placed the house in my town. None of these worked. Any suggestions?

    My guess is that it is a 2 character quest and that the other one needed isn't free. Next time ALL your characters are free try it.

    There is a well known bug on 2 parts of the quest line that still hasn't been fixed: several players have reported it on this forum and EA answers.

    Ok I was wondering. The 6 hour task states that it requires only the van Houten house. Not luan, who's a premium purchase anyway, and premiums aren't required to do a task. Thanks for the help.
