The only tasks in the book at the minute are regular tasks.
After Ned was done with his snowmobile, Homer initiates a new task to send himself and Lisa skiing. After they are done, you can buy decorations. Buy a few and Homer will have another task to build a snow man and have Lisa make snow angels. I'm not sure how you could have missed one unless you prematurely sent them on a task without the quest bubble.
After Homer and Lisa go skiing but before the snowman/snow angel quest the Simpsons house should have been decorated by Homer and Lisa. After that Flanders comments on it, you have to decorate his house, and then the rest of the decorations for the houses are open. Each are 50 santa coins.
